Hymn to London Bridge.

On 2nd September 2010 Nick Franglen played the theremin for 24 hours under London Bridge in an unbroken performance from midnight to midnight. Sensors mounted on the bridge above registered the passing of each pedestrian, creating a moment of silence for everyone who crossed the bridge throughout the day.

Hymn to London Bridge was filmed and edited by Bevis Bowden. All music on the film was created by Nick Franglen during the performance.

Hymn to London Bridge received extensive media coverage, including live broadcasts at lunchtime and evening for BBC TV news and Chinese National Televsion. The BBC Entertainment News article can be read here, and the Guardian article here.
